Sandra Miles, Co-founder, President, CEO
Miles Employment Group

Sandra Miles is passionate about human resources and staffing. In 1986 she co-founded a successful Vancouver-based full service recruitment firm. Active as the company's president, CEO, and hands-on manager in its daily operations, she sold her interest in 2001.

In 2003, Sandra returned to the business, this time as co-founder, President, and CEO of Miles Employment Group Ltd. The company offers temporary, contract and permanent staffing services to the Greater Vancouver business community, and their growing client list includes a wide cross-section of office and financial, high tech, industrial and manufacturing industries, as well as government and crown corporations.

Miles Employment Group will be extra busy over the next few years: they are a preferred staffing supplier to the Olympic Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

With over 20 years of experience in staffing and human resources, Sandra is known for setting industry standards. She is the recipient of the Business in Vancouver 40 under 40 Achievement Award, and a nominee for the YWCA Women of Distinction, Entrepreneur Category. She spends a great deal of time volunteering for non-profit organizations, business committees, and advisory boards.

In her spare time, Sandra enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, as well as photography, music, travel and the arts.
